Nick grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. Both parents were avid readers who instilled a love of story from an early age. He spent his childhood in the surrounding woods and beaches, riding his bike around town – one foot in reality the other in his imagination. Nick moved to New York City to pursue his passion for writing at Columbia University, where he earned a degree in Comparative Literature. His travels have served as inspiration, infusing his narratives with unique character perspectives and intricate details in his books.
